Ghost in the Shell & Yamato Sequels

The Japanese Nikkei Entertainment Magazine has reported that Ghost in the Shell 2 and Shin (New) Space Cruiser Yamato are scheduled for Japanese theatrical release next year. Furthermore, there are apparently now unconfirmed rumors that Mamoru Oshii may not direct the second GitS film.
