Ghost in the Shell 2 Release Date Announced

Kodansha Publishing of Japan has finally announced a date of December 22, 2000 for the Japanese release of the long-delayed limited edition Koukaku (Ghost in the Shell) Solid Box. The collector’s package will include the first volume (of 2) of the Ghost in the Shell 2: Man-Machine Interface manga, a new, hardcover reprint of the original GitS manga, a mini illustration collection housed in a CD jewel case, a fold-out poster, a clear plastic fuchikoma action figure toy and a “secret gift.” The box will retail for 13,333 yen. While we cannot guarantee the availability of this boxed set, AnimeNation can accept special-orders for import copies of this collection by e-mail request.
