Get Graphic @ Your Library

To commemorate Teen Read Week, October 13-19th, the American Library Association is hosting the “Get Graphic @ Your Library” event. The Countryside Library in Clearwater, Florida will host its own Get Graphic event on Saturday, October 19th from 12:30 until 3 PM. CrossGen Comics, Beyond Books, Emerald City, and AnimeNation will all have representatives at the event to present discussions of comics, graphic novels, manga and anime, and Get Graphic T-shirts and prize packs from the represented vendors will be raffled off every half hour. Fans and teens in the Clearwater/St. Petersburg/Tampa area are encouraged to come out to the library for a day of comics and manga, and promoting teen literacy.
