Gerry Anderson Dead at 83

Gerry Anderson, creator of sci-fi television series including Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, and Space:1999, passed away in his sleep on December 26th. Anderson was 83. Toei adapted his 1965 television series Thunderbirds into the 1982 anime television series Kagaku Kyujotai Techno Voyager. Anderson personally created TransArts & Madhouse’s 2003 anime television series Firestorm.
