Gedo Senki Scheduled for Japanese DVD Release

Watch Impress has reported that Studio Ghibli’s latest film, Gedo Senki, will be released on Japanese DVD on July 4th in a double disc regular edition and 3 disc special edition.

The standard edition will include the film with selectable Japanese and English dialogue, optional Japanese or English subtitles, the movie in storyboard form, trailers, and “Gedo Senki Sound Picture Book 1” at a 4,935 yen retail price.

The special edition will feature the film with Japanese 2.0 & DTS audio, the film with selectable English, French, Korean, Mandarin, and Cantonese stereo, the regular edition bonus disc, staff and cast interviews, “Gedo Senki Sound Picture Book 2,” and an alternate DVD cover, at a 7,875 yen retail price. The inclusion of optional English subtitles on the special edition release is not specified.
