Gatchaman Movie Full Trailer Released

The homepage for Toho & director Toya Sato’s live action Gatchaman motion picture has released the film’s full trailer. The adaptation of Tatsunoko’s classic 1972 superhero anime television series will open theatrically in Japan on August 24.

The costumes & action look just fine, but a lot of the trailer looks too bright to me, especially from about :18 through :40. It looks more like a soap opera than an apocalyptic sci-fi action film. Throw some smoke or fog or haze or rain or something in there to give the background more character.
