Sega’s Sonic Team has announced plans to release a Sonic Mega Collection for the Japanese GameCube this winter. The GameCube title will include 7 classic Sonic the Hedgehog games. Sega has also released the first screenshots of the upcoming GBA title Sonic Advance 2.

Namco has revealed three playable time release hidden characters in Soul Calibur II: Yoshimitsu, Cervantes and the new character Charade. Japanese news page Impress Gamewatch features new screenshots of the game and larger images of the new characters.
