GameCube Launched in Japan

Apparently the launch of the Gamecube earlier in this week in Japan has not caused quite the stir that may have been expected. According to reports published by GameSpot, advance lines to purchase the Gamecube were relatively short, and no sell-outs have been reported or even appear imminent. Seemingly the Gamecube launch will net even approach the record breaking initial sales figures that the Playstation 2 and Gameboy Advance scored.
