G4 to Change Focus & Name

The G4 television network founded in 2002 is to be renamed and refocused as “Esquire,” as a parallel to Esquire men’s magazine, on April 22. The network that previously focused on video game culture and geek technology will expand its focus to target “today’s modern man,” by covering subjects including food, fashion, women, humor, travel, competition, and danger. The G4 network has previously broadcast a variety of anime series including Ultraviolet: Code 044, Viper’s Creed, the Marvel Anime series, RahXephon, and Cromartie High School.
