FUNimation to Distribute Shikabane Hime Online

FUNimation’s YouTube Channel has scheduled a release of the first episode of the brand new Gainax produced supernatural horror/action anime television series Shikabane Hime: Aka for next week. The series made its Japanese television premier just two weeks ago, on October 2.

FUNimation has not revealed any plans for a packaged media release of the Shikabane Hime series. It’s not clear if FUNimation has acquired distribution rights to the show, or if FUNimation is partially handling international distribution of the series on behalf of a Japanese distributor.
