FUNimation News from Katsucon

FUNimation officially announced plans for new anime merchandising at last weekend’s Katsucon convention.

High demand and low availability for the limited edition Kiddy Grade DVD with box set will result in the set being re-pressed. However, the second edition Kiddy Grade DVD w/box sets will not include the bonus baseball cap that came with the limited edition.

FUNimation will be releasing a completed resin statues of Eclair and Lumiere from Kiddy Grade. The figures are limited to 500 of each made, but if they sell out, more will be manufactured.

Beginning this summer FUNimation will begin selling Fruits Basket Kyo and Yuki cat and rat fleece hats complete with ears, and a Kyo black skull cap with tension headache logo. These hats will be sold only at anime conventions that FUNimation attends.
