FUNimation Dominates American Anime DVD Sales

According to Nielsen VideoScan data for the year 2006, FUNimation has led American anime DVD sales for the past six straight years. As of 2006, FUNimation titles accounted for 23.2% of all American anime DVDs purchased by consumers. The nearest competitor accounted for 12.6% of the domestic market share.
