FUNimation Announcements from Animefest

At last weekend’s AnimeFest convention, FUNimation officially announced its acquisition of the Galaxy Railways anime TV series. The series will debut in America late next year.

Spiral and Full Metal Alchemist will be 4 episodes per DVD (6 disks and 13 disks, respectively), at $29.98 per disc. Fullmetal Alchemist will also be released in three boxed sets.

FUNimation sill has 6 Lupin the Third movies lined up for American release. The next film to be released will be “Dead or Alive,” released next spring.
