FUNimation Announcements from Anime Expo

At this past weekend’s Anime Expo convention, FUNimation announced its acquisition of distribution rights to the current Trinity Blood anime television series.

The domestic DVD release of “Desert Punk” (Sunabozu) will contain both the Japanese TV broadcast version and the Japanese risque home video version episodes.

Each domestic DVD volume of Samurai 7 will be released in a standard edition that includes a 32 page booklet, and a limited edition that includes an additional 160-page storyboard booklet and slipcase.
