FUNi Reveals 3 License Rescues
FUNimation has acquired distribution rights to the Bubblegum Crisis 2040, Excel Saga, and Noir television series formerly distributed domestically by ADV Films. All three titles will be re-released in America next year.

Good to see BUBBLEGUM CRISIS TOKYO 2040 again. It’s not a particularly stellar series or anything, but I do think it’s really fun and worth a watch.
Excel Saga makes sense. Noir less so, but people are still interested in it. I’m surprised Section 23/Sentai let those slip. But wow, Tokyo 2040 is a real surprise. I never would have expected that one.
