FUNi Reloads Trigun
FUNimation has announced its acquisition of home video, broadcast, digital, and merchandising rights to the 1998 Trigun television anime. Pioneer released the 26 episode sci-fi action/comedy series on American DVD in 2000. FUNimation will begin its DVD release of the series this fall.

Before Geneon went belly up, they released TRIGUN through a couple of limited edition collector’s tins, which are really quite nice. The raised cover artwork are exquisite. I think it would be great if FUNimation took a page from Geneon on this one, and do something similar…
