Fuji TV Affiliates Partner With DLE for New Anime Shorts

Eight television stations in southwestern Japan affiliated with the Fuji TV network, including Television Nisinippon, Television Nagasaki, Miyazaki Telecasting, and Okinawa Television, have announced the formation of an original anime development partnership with Flash animation production studio DLE Inc. (Eagle Talon, Haiyoru! Nyaru-Ani) and ad agency/producer Dentsu. The collaboration will create anime shorts for broadcast by the eight stations during commercial breaks beginning this month. The works will also be distributed to mobile phones and eventually franchised for merchandising and DVD.
