Friday Anime Invasion Canceled?

An anonymous rec.arts.anime.misc usenet post has suggested that Fox’s Friday Anime Invasion block may be canceled as soon as this week. The Fox Kids’ TV schedule for this week reveals that this Friday’s broadcast schedule does seem to have canned the Anime Invasion. This week may be an exception, as Escaflowne has also been pre-empted this week for a Digimon marathon, but Escaflowne, at least, will presumably be back next week.
