Fourth Shimajiro Series to Premiere in April

The popular “Shimajiro” children’s anime series will debut its fourth television series next month. Shimajiro no Wow! will be the first Shimajiro anime to incorporate CG animation. The educational program for pre-schoolers premiered in 1993 as “Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirou.” In 2008 the first series gave way to the second series, “Hakken Taiken Daisuki! Shimajiro,” which ran until the current “Shimajiro Hesoka” series premiered in 2010.
