First Shimajirou Movie Announced

The Shimajirou to Fufu no Daibouken ~Sukue! Nanairo no Hana~ (Shimajiro and Fufu’s Great Adventure: Save the Seven-Colored Flower!) anime feature film will open in Japanese theaters on March 15, 2013. The film will be the first feature for the “Shimajiro” pre-school age children’s anime franchise that premiered in 1993 with the Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirou TV series. The movie will be specifically tailored to very young children, including live-action musical sequences and characters directly addressing the audience to engage child viewers’ attention.
