First Queen’s Blade Footage Released
Japanese distributor Media Factory has added a 90 second trailer for the Queen’s Blade Volume Zero DVD to YouTube. The “Volume Zero” promotional DVD will be sold at this month’s Comic Market convention for 1,000 yen. The DVD will include a trailer for the upcoming Queen’s Blade TV anime, a “radio program” featuring voice actresses Ayako Kawasumi and Mamiko Noto, and special interviews with the main cast.

I’ve always loved the art for this series, but I don’t expect to be impressed just by the promotional DVD. The radio drama doesn’t have much of an appeal without having familiarity with the character’s voices and the same goes for the voice actress interviews.
I do, however, look forward to the upcoming TV series.
