First Anime Central 2001 Guests

Anime Central, the Midwest’s largest anime convention, has announced its first round of guests for its 2001 convention. The first two Japanese guests attending will be Kia Asamiya, creator of Silent Mobius, Nadesico and Dark Angel, and Yoshitoshi Abe, character designer of Serial Experiment Lain and creator of Niea_7. American guests include Scott Frazier and Robert Dejesus. Anime Central 2001 will be held May 11 – 13, 2001 at the Sheraton Arlington Park in Arlington Heights, IL, just outside Chicago.
