Fans Decide Bonus Track on Final Fantasy X Single

To celebrate the release of Final Fantasy X in July, Square has put together an interactive promotion for Final Fantasy music. Between now and April 30th, Final Fantasy fans can vote on which piece of Final Fantasy music should be remade as a vocal song. Voters can select any instrumental OST track from the nine Final Fantasy soundtracks, including the FF IX Plus CD. Naturally, Final Fantasy VIII’s “Eyes On Me” and Final Fantasy IX’s “Melodies of Life” are ineligible selections since they’re already vocal songs. The piece with the most votes will be arranged with new lyrics for the CD single release of Final Fantasy X’s theme song “Suteki da ne.” Rikki, the vocalist for “Suteki da ne,” will also perform the winning selection.
