Evangelion Movie Debuts at No. 1

The first of four Evangelion remake movies, Evangelion : 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, exceeded expectations and gained the number one spot for Japanese weekend box office sales. The film debuted in only 84 theaters to packed audiences and garnered 280 million yen (approx. 2.4 million US dollars).
