Escaflowne on TV Officially Canceled

According to Another Universe.com, Fox has officially canceled the US television broadcast of Escaflowne. The tenth episode (“Prophecy of Doom”) will end the run on October 21. According to the article, the series will continue to air on Canadian television, and will soon premier on Fox’s foreign networks. The dub version to be released on the DVDs and uncut VHS dub should be unaffected.
