Gamers’ Republic has posted extensive coverage of the recent Anime Expo 2000 convention, including detail from the AD Vision and Escaflowne panels, a focus on the costume contest, previews of the Escaflowne movie and first Street Fighter Alpha OAV, and downloadable trailers taken from the Pioneer promotional DVD give-away.

SciFi.IGN.COM has also put together a review of the Escaflowne movie from the Anime Expo showing. The review does not give a good description of the qualities of the movie, but it is a good run-down of the differences between the Escaflowne movie and the television show.
