Elite Yankee Saburo Movie Announced

Shuji Abe’s comedy manga series “Elite Yankee Saburo,” the story of a high school freshman mistakenly labeled as a notorious delinquent because his two older brothers were delinquents, will be adapted into a theatrical film by director Yudai Yamaguchi. The feature film will re-cast the principle actors from the Elite Yankee Saburo television drama that aired in 2007.

Yamaguchi is probably a particularly well suited director to helm the film since he directed the similarly themed Cromartie High School feature film.
