Edited Shaolin Soccer Opens Today

The American release of smash hit Chinese action/comedy film Shaolin Soccer officially opens in American theaters in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York today. The American version of the film, distributed by Miramax, is subtitled but unfortunately heavily edited. While the Chinese DVD version of the film runs 102 minutes, the American theatrical version is only 87 minutes long.
