DVD Boxed Set Announcements

Pioneer has announced a DVD boxed set of Trigun for release on November 20th at a retail price of $199.98, a savings of $39.86 off the price of the 8 individual discs. No bonus features or premiums beside the slipcase have been announced.

Pioneer has announced a DVD boxed set of the Tenchi Universe series for release on October 9th at a retail price of $199.98, a savings of $39.86 off the price of the 8 individual discs. Three disc Dragonball Z movie (movies 1-3 at 4 cents more than the cost of the individual discs) and Sailormoon movie DVD boxed sets ($69.98, $19.96 off the price of the 3 DVDs individually) have also been announced for release on October 9th. The new Serial Experiments Lain DVD boxed set (4 DVDs in a cardboard slipcase, no premium items) will be released on October 9th as well, with a retail price of $119.98, six cents more expensive than the individual discs.

Pioneer has also delayed the Hakkenden DVD boxed set from release next month until release on October 9th.
