Douglas Adams Passes Away

Famed pioneer of science fiction comedy, Douglas Adams, died Friday of a heart attack. Adams’ work on the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy “trilogy” set the standard for the genre of sci-fi/comedy and paved the way for such descendants as Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels, the British TV series Red Dwarf, and anime series such as Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Lost Universe, and many others. He will be dearly missed by all of his fans.
