Dogu-chan Movie Hits This Month

An official website, and trailer, has launched to announce the February 20th premiere of the Kyoretsu! Mouretsu!! Kodai Shoujo Dogu-chan Matsuri Special Movie Edition theatrical film. The live action movie will consist of footage from last year’s late night action/horror/comedy television series enhanced by extensive new footage directed by Yoshihiro Nishimura (Tokyo Gore Police). The 12 episode Kodai Shoujo Dogu-chan television series was created by Machine Girl director Noboru Iguchi with episodes directed by Iguchi, Takashi Shimizu (Juon), Keisuke Toyoshima, and series producer Takuma Tosaka. Yoshihiro Nishimura contributed to the TV series’ visual effects.
