Discotek Announces Two License Rescues

Discotek has announced its acquisition of the Lupin the Third: Secret of Mamo movie and the Golden Boy OVA series. The 1978 first Lupin III feature film will be released next year with original Japanese audio and all four existing English dubs (Toho, Manga UK, Streamline, Geneon). Geneon released the film on American DVD in 2003. TMS Entertainment began streaming the Geneon dub on Hulu last January.

Discotek has also announced a November 6th release of the six-episode Golden Boy OVA series that was previously released on American DVD by AD Vision in 2002 and Media Blasters in 2007.
