Digital Manga Sponsors Manga Academy Awards

Digital Manga, Inc., the distributor that will be partnering with Dark Horse Comics to localize the Berserk, Hellsing, Trigun and Ring manga, is now sponsoring the first annual Manga Academy art contest. Prospective manga artists should submit a 10-15 page “doujinshi” by December 1st. Runners-up winners will have their original manga displayed at a major Japanese doujinshi convention. The grand prize winner will not only have his/her manga displayed at a Japanese comic convention, but will also win a vacation trip to Tokyo.
