Details on Upcoming Dreamcast Games

The Ah! Megami-sama (Ah! My Goddess) Quiz game is scheduled for Japanese release on November 30th. The full 3D game is a port from the Sega arcade game in which players are required to answer multiple choice questions based on A!MG manga and anime trivia. Naturally, the game is extremely Japanese text heavy. The Dreamcast port of the game will feature 1000 brand new questions, bringing the total to 6000, and in another upgrade over the arcade version, all of the in-game movies and events will feature full spoken dialogue by the original OAV series voice actors. The limited edition boxed set version will include a set of 3 three dimensional rubber stamps bearing the likenesses of Belldandy, Skuld, and Urd; a sheet of stickers; a pillow/cushion; a small model/figure of Belldandy sitting on a rock, and an omake disc featuring a Japanese TV commercial for the Ah! Megami-sama movie and a seiyuu voice file. The limited edition version will retail for 8,800 yen (tax included) and the game only edition will retail for 5,800 yen (tax in).

Following on the heels of the upcoming Sakura Wars edition Dreamcast and e-mail program, Sega of Japan will release Dijiko no Maibura on December 14th, for 2,480 yen. The program disc will allow Seganet users that have internet access through their Dreamcast to personalize e-mail with sound clips and images from Di-Gi-Charat, including Dijiko herself, Puchiko, Rabi-en-Rose, Gemma and Piyoko.

Sega’s D-Direct will be releasing a new Blue Submarine strategy adventure game on December 7th, titled Ao no Rokugo: Time & Tide. Similar to the Playstation Blue No. 6: Antarctica strategy/simulation game, Time & Tide will combine 3D rendered action with 2D characters and mix strategy submarine simulation action with personal character interaction and communication.
