Dairy Queen to Promote Digimon

Beginning in June 2002 (possibly a typo- 2001?) the Dairy Queen restaurant chain will begin a $2 million ad campaign featuring Digimon. Promotions will include television commercials on Fox Kids, Nickelodeon and other kids-targeted television networks, in store signs and sweepstakes, and 16 toy premiums. Production and related background costs will increase Dairy Queen’s total expenditure on and committment to the Digimon franchise to $4 million.
