Crunchyroll to Host Anime from Marvelous Entertainment

Japanese production company Marvelous Entertainment has announced plans to begin international digital distribution of select anime titles through Crunchyroll. The producer of anime series including Gunslinger Girl, Murder Princess, Mushishi, & School Rumble will launch the controversial 2007 School Days anime television series on Crunchyroll later this spring, with appropriate viewer age restrictions implemented.

The School Days anime features sexual themes and graphic violence that caused some Japanese television networks to censor the series or cancel the broadcast of the series’ final episode because of its similarity to a concurrent real life murder.
