Crouching Tiger Wins More Awards

In addition to its 4 Academy Awards for art direction, cinematography, best original score and best foreign film, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was selected as the top independent film of 2000 at Saturday’s 16th annual Independent Spirit Awards ceremonies in Santa Monica. Director Ang Lee was also selected as best director, and Best Supporting Female went to Zhang Ziyi.
