CPM Announces “Authentic Anime” Line

Central Park Media has announced that they will be starting a new line of subtitled only “Authentic Anime” DVDs with the February 11th release of Ariel on DVD. The “Authentic Anime” DVDs will be “completely soft-subtitled, straight-from-the-Japanese-master format” which suggests that the “Authentic Anime” DVDs will not include any of the editing or alterations usually applied to American anime DVDs. The Ariel DVD will include the original Ariel OAV and the 2 episode Ariel Deluxe OAV series.
