Clerks Canned

ABC has reported that after two episodes it will be canceling the animated Clerks show. As of Wednesday, repeats of Spin City will take over the 9:30 time spot. Clerks’ ratings dropped from a 5.2/9 in its first week to a 4.1/7 in its second. ABC insiders also claimed that several major sponsors had shied away from the show because of its edgy content.
