Bushi Road Anime Project Resurrected

Game maker Bushiroad has announced that its long-on-hiatus anime project Neppu Kairiku Bushi Lord is being relaunched as a Neppu Kairiku Bushi Road anime TV series. The project was initially announced in 2003 as a TV special collaboration involving Gainax, Takara, and Broccoli. Now the production, still based on the original concept by the late Trinity Blood author Sunao Yoshida, will be a collaboration involving Bandai Visual, Nitroplus, and anime production studio Kinema Citrus. Masayuki Sakoi (Kaibutsu Oujo, Needless) will direct the mecha/fantasy action anime. The series will premiere this fall.
