Bubblegum Crisis Blu-ray Meets Kickstarter Goal in 4 Days

AnimEigo’s crowd-funding effort to release the 1987-1991 Bubblegum Crisis OVA series on domestic Blu-ray surpassed its initial $75,000 goal only four days after launching the fund-raising campaign. A pledge of $50 or more will include one copy of the forthcoming domestic double-disc Blu-ray set.

While this rush of support is fantastic, similar support for DVD releases of other older anime titles via Anime Sols would be tremendously encouraging as well.
