Beelzebub & Second Toriko Movies Announced

Next week’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will formally announce that the 2010 Jump Super Anime Tour will be headlined by exclusive Beelzebub and Toriko short anime movies. Ryuhei Tamura’s action comedy manga series Beelzebub launched in February 2009 and has never previously been adapted into anime. Loosely inspired by the traditional Japanese Momotaro fairy tail, Beelzebub is the story of a high school delinquent who inadvertently becomes the surrogate father to the devil’s infant son. Toriko got its first and so far only anime adaptation with a 2009 Jump Super Anime Tour movie. Tokiko is the action/adventure story of a hunter who procures rare and dangerous animals to be turned into gourmet meals.
