Basilisk Live Action Movie?

Based on its Japanese official site, the upcoming live action film Shinobi: Heart Under Blade appears to be either a live action adaptation of the anime/manga Basilisk, or an adaptation of the same novel that the Basilisk manga is based on. Japanese fan site Rakuga Kidou refers to the movie as a live action version of Basilisk.
