Banpresto Announces new Lupin PS2 Game

Banpresto has announced “Lupin the 3rd: The Legacy of the Magic King” as a “cinematic adventure game” to be released on the Playstation 2 in Japan later this year. The full 3D game boasts direct creative involvement by veterans of the Lupin III animation productions, and gameplay resembling that of Metal Gear Solid including stealth, disguise, gunplay. All of the classic Lupin cast members will appear in the game.

The extensive official Japanese website includes numerous screenshots, detailed information about the game, and the game’s opening movie in downloadable Real Media format.
