Bandai News from A-Kon

Bandai confirmed at last weekend’s Project A-Kon convention that the original MS Gundam TV series will be coming to the Cartoon Network, but no date has been established yet. The American DVD release of the original Gundam movie trilogy has been postponed indefinitely.

Love Hina will debut in the US sometime next year. The bonus material and premiums for the Cowboy Bebop DVD boxed set will be “really nice” but will not be made available to consumers that have already purchased the individual DVDs.

A dubbed version of the Escaflowne movie will debut in the US theatrically later this year. At the present time, Anime Village is not actively persuing the American distribution rights to the Cowboy Bebop movie but is still interested in the license.
