Bandai at E3

If you still haven’t clawed you way into possession of a Gundam model, here’s something else to drool over. Bandai made some announcements at E3 that should please Gundam and Digimon fans. In the forth quarter of this year, the company expects to ship its latest PlayStation Gundam-based game, which is titled Gundam Wing Battle Master. This game will be a Gundam game is based on the previous two Gundam: Battle Master 2-D fighting games and will have over 20 different suits to fight with. It should feature a deep fighting system with armor that falls off when damaged, and other neat graphical effects. The game is expected to ship in first quarter 2001. Also being shown was Digimon World, a Digimon based RPG that should premier in the first week in July. Digimon World II should ship first quarter 2001. The sequel to the first Digimon World will feature over 200 Digimon characters, which is 120 more than the original game, and players will be able to combine Digimon to create super characters and fight three on three battles. All of the mentioned games were for the Playstation.

Bandai also brought the Gundam Wing action figures to the E3 video game expo. The 4.5″ figures will be released this July at $5.99 for the basic assortment and $9.99 for the deluxe.
