Bandai Acquires Star Driver
Bandai Entertainmnet has announced its acquisition of domestic distribution rights to last year’s robot anime television series Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto. The original series from studio Bones was written by Melody of Oblivion creator Yoji Enokido.
Nice to see Bandai still licensing. And nice to see this odd, off-kilter show get an American license, even if the show is ultimately just a bit unfulfilling.

I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve written this, but, you had me at MELODY OF OBLIVION.
Loved the show, I wish it could have been a little more in depth, a great plot like that doesn’t have time to develope in a single season.
