Avalon Coming to DVD

Mamoru Oshii’s critically acclaimed live action & CGI action film Avalon will be released on home video in Japan on July 25th. The film will be available on VHS for 16,000 yen, and a regular and special edition DVD. The regular edition DVD will include the 106 minute film with its original theatrical trailers in its original Polish language with Japanese subtitles and an optional Japanese language dub and retail for 4800 yen. The 12,800 yen special edition boxed set will include the movie in both Dolby Surround & DTS 6.1, 280+ page booklet with the movie project proposal, script, and storyboard, and a special footage DVD with the making-of video, image gallery, and movie trailers.
