Audio Defect on Slayers DVD Box Set

Early reports from Anime on DVD warn that some purchasers may encounter an “inverted phase” audio problem (a defect akin to the left and right audio tracks reversing themselves during playback) with the Japanese language track on the new Central Park Media Slayers DVD boxed set. Some viewers may not notice any fluctuation or warble in the audio, though, and the English dub track is apparently all right. The Anime on DVD forum provides some tricks, mainly involving re-arranging your audio cables and physical audio set-up, to partially alleviate the problem. According to Anime on DVD, Central Park Media is aware of the defect, and should shortly officially address the problem.
