Do Ryoko and Tenchi really get married , or is it just fake?

Answer:
Ryoko and Tenchi do not get married in any existing Tenchi Muyo animation nor any of the Tenchi novels. This perpetual internet rumor may have its origin in a two-page illustration that appeared in Newtype Magazine many years ago which had Tenchi Masaki and Ryoko together in traditional Shinto wedding robes. This illustration was a “what if” fantasy illustration created exclusively for Newtype Magazine and has no direct relation to the canon Tenchi Muyo continuity.
